Last but not least, I must point out how our Blue Drops, which were launched last year, will function as a guideline for an efficient visit. These Blue Drops, around which a lot of communication will be made, are only given to the best products MoOD has to offer. They are selected by an international, external jury, which selects fabrics that are exceptional in different ways. The Blue Drop stage shows visitors the way to only the best products the fair has to offer and makes their visit easy. In this way Blue Drops at the same time recognize the efforts of our exhibitors, strengthen their image, support them in their marketing and give them lots of attention in the media.

Trend presentation, outdoor section, wall coverings wall…
What is good, must of course be retained. In short, in hall 6 we repeat our Trend presentation, which this year will be named (Re)Naissance, the different seminars, the Innovation Platform, Young Belgian Creativity and the huge wall coverings wall. The outdoor section will once again play a major role on its same spot, the outside area between halls 7 and 11. In showing all of this, we can again count on our yearlong and loyal partners Trevira, Dolan, MatériO and the international press.

MoOD: an online marketplace
If you ask me to describe the ambitions of MoOD 2010: it needs to be far more than just a fair that lasts for 3 days. In our view, a fair must also have a 'pre-' and a 'post' impact of 3 months, because the world we live in today is at the same an online marketplace.
