Daily round-up of Asian nylon value-chain

In Chinese market Caprolactam prices continued to follow downward trend, prices again moved down by RMB 100 / ton and new prices assessed around RMB 20800 / ton. Transactions remained small due to unstable prices.
Nylon chips prices remained stable around RMB 23300 / ton. Nylon chip producers were excited to buy raw material, as prices of raw material turned weak. On other hand in a view of decreasing Caprolactam prices, there was a threat of decrease in Nylon chips prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 26700 / ton, RMB 27800 / ton and RMB 29600 / ton respectively. Nylon filament yarn manufacturers have increased their feedstock inventory with an improved profit margin.
