China's exports of cotton blended fabrics registered 82.25 million meters from January-April 2010, down 9.82 percent year on year, export value reached US $114.58 million, a slight increase over the same time last year, due to significantly increase in unit price.
Cotton printed and cotton blended fabrics witnessed most significant decline in exports. In the first four months, export volume and value of cotton printed fabrics declined 69.37 percent and 50.08 percent, respectively, year on year.
Export volume and value of cotton blended fabrics reduced by 44.3 percent and 38.52 percent, respectively, year on year. But export situation of printed and dyed cotton blended fabrics was better, especially yarn-dyed cotton blended fabrics; as their export volume, value and unit price grew significantly year on year.
