The oldest Rieter spinning machine in the field

Jun '10
For more than 200 years, Rieter has been producing spinning machines. High manufacturing quality, robustness and good service have enabled the machines to operate for many years. Rieter is now searching for the oldest machine which is still running on a regular and daily basis. The customer who is operating this machine can win a flight to the ITMA Barcelona 2011.

Rieter has been producing spinning machines since 1795 and is committed to values such as quality, customer satisfaction and innovation. Rieter spinning machines are long-lasting. Their quality has ensured successful and dependable operation for decades. For this reason, Rieter machines are still in demand as second-hand machines even at a ripe old age.

Rieter is now looking for the machine with the highest number of operating years, that is still in daily use in a spinning plant producing yarn from fibers, from bale opening right up to the spinning machine, with the brand Rieter, Schuber & Salzer or Ingolstadt Machine Works. Customers are requested to send a photo of the machine and further relevant details to Rieter. A draw for the prizes will be made from all entries received. The owner of the oldest machine wins an invitation to the ITMA Barcelona 2011 including flight and two overnight stays.
