Texmed Awards handed to five Tunisian textile firms

Five Tunisian textile companies received 'Texmed Awards' for their efforts taken for the development and success of the 11th Euro-Mediterranean Garment exhibition. These awards were presented for the first time for the performance, creativity and expertise of the Tunisian textile and apparel companies.

Textile and garment industry professionals were the jury members of the first edition of 'Texmed Awards' who decided to felicitate 'Groupe Maille Club' with 'Export Performance Award'. The company has been successfully imposing the mark 'MABROUK' in ready-to-wear and sportswear industry, since its establishment in 1982.

This award was offered to 'Groupe Maille Club' in recognition of its best export performance during the past three years, 2007, 2008 and 2009. It has achieved a yearly average of highest export growth, with an annual export turnover greater than or equal to 1 million Dinars (MD), during these three years.

The 'Best Stand Award' was offered to 'Ulysse Fashion Tunisia', which is a fashion and apparel industry expert, for its naked stand and remarkable efforts in design, wrapping and personalization stand at the 2010 edition. While the 'Certification Award' was offered to 'La Griffe international' as it has the highest certifications. It is the labeling industry major.

'Groupe TFCE', which has made its mark in women's apparels, garment accessories, innerwear and equipment for textile and leather work has received the 'Creativity Award' for its collection of finished creative and original products. The company also had attended fashion show during the exhibition.

'SILEX Societe Industrielle de Lingerie à l'Export' was offered the 'TEXMED Loyalty Award'. The company honors the exhibiting company's most loyal to Texmed since 1997, which is the year of its inception.
