Apex Bank revises EFS criteria on hand-knotted carpets

The Apex Bank of Pakistan has revised the performance criteria for exporters of hand-knotted carpets under Part-II of Export Finance Scheme (EFS) for the fiscal year 2009-10.

According to a notification issued by the State Bank of Pakistan, required performance for financing facilities availed under Part II of EFS during FY 2009-10 be fixed at 1.50 times as against existing performance requirements of 2.0 times.

However, as per the notification, the entitlement of limits for fiscal year 2010-11 shall continue to be fixed as per existing criteria/instructions.
