Huntsman to increase prices of selected products by up to 10%

Huntsman Textile Effects announces global price increases up to 10% in selective product ranges. Key feedstock, raw materials and freight continue to elevate during 2010.

Earlier this year, much of the cost increase was absorbed by Huntsman Textile Effects to avoid price changes for its customers. However, cost increases have accelerated and are expected to be sustained through 2010. In order to maintain business activities and service levels, Huntsman Textile Effects will adjust prices up to 10% in selected product ranges.

Huntsman Textile Effects will continue to work closely with its customers to successfully tackle these on-going cost challenges. The company values its customers and will continue to provide high quality products and services to remain a committed and viable supplier for innovative dyes and chemical in the future.

Huntsman customers will be contacted by their sales representative to review the selective price adjustments. Adjusted prices will become effective immediately or as contracts allow.
