China's largest enterprise in cotton business, China Cotton Group has recently opened the largest bonded warehouse in an export processing zone in Weifang, Shandong Province.

The bonded warehouse will store imported cotton by relying on the bonded warehouse of Shandong Ruiyuan Storage and Logistics Company.

The warehouse is expected to have an annual volume turnover of 100,000 tons of imported cotton, valued at about US $200 million.

Recently, the first batch of 1,000 tons of cotton imported from Cameroon has been sold to enterprises surrounding Weifang city through the warehouse.

Weifang has one of the highest concentrations of textile enterprises in the country and its annual consumption of cotton material is over 500,000 tons.
