Exquisite Apparel to design Dickies Apparel

Dickies, the innovative work wear apparel brand, announced a new licensing agreement with Exquisite Apparel, a leading manufacturer and marketer of underwear and performance apparel. Dickies' extensive portfolio of licensees continue to deliver work wear and work-inspired lines including bags, footwear, belts, socks, medical wear, headwear, sunglasses, kidswear, men's tops and junior girls apparel in addition to underwear, base layer and loungewear.

“We continue to enrich our licensee relationships to serve the needs of our diverse customer base, adding companies that produce high-quality, innovative products synonymous with the Dickies brand,” said Michael Penn, Vice President of Licensing for Dickies. “Exquisite Apparel has produced and designed well-made underwear and high-performance layering garments for top-tier brands for years.”

Tedesco, Exquisite's Executive Vice President. “The Dickies and Genuine Dickies brands are the premier names for work and work-related apparel. Our product line of thermals, base layer, and performance underwear, along with our innovative loungewear make this the premium brand for the working men and women of our country. The line will be introduced at the August Magic show in Las Vegas. This will solidify and strengthen our position as the industry leader in these categories.”

Design and production of the Dickies' underwear will begin immediately with marketing and distribution expected to begin holiday 2010.
