Samnam completes turnaround of PTA lines

According to a senior official of Samnam Petrochemical, South Korea, the company has restarted their PTA production lines after completing the maintenance turnaround.
Samnam operates four terephthalic acid lines, with a total production capacity of 1.8 million tons per annum, of which 1.5 million tons constitutes of Qualified Terephthalic Acid (QTA) and the rest Purified Terephthalic acid (PTA).
The company official added by saying that, the plant which is located in Yeocheon had undertaken the maintenance turnaround on July 12 and that now the plant is running at 80 percent capacity and will achieve full capacity utilization rates by July 22.
