Daily round-up of Asian acrylic value-chain

In Chinese market, Acrylonitrile (ACN) prices remain steady around RMB 17,600 / ton and in Asian market ACN price (CNF India), it was assessed around US $2,090 / ton.
In the last fifteen days no firm bids were registered, as buyers postponed purchase from spot market with expectation of further drops over the dull season in July and August.
In Chinese market, Acrylic Staple Fibre prices remained steady around RMB 22,300 / ton. In Taiwan, domestic prices for Acrylic Staple Fibre for this month remained at the same level as that of the previous month, but export prices have declined with falling raw material costs. Acrylic Fibre prices are expected to stay stable with a slight downtrend.
