Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie to dole out free bras

Alicia Vargo, the owner and founder of Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie, will tour the country fitting women who receive support from Dress for Success with brand new bras. The initiative is called "Alicia's Bras for Success," and is being coordinated by Vargo in partnership with Dress for Success, an international non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged women achieve self-sufficiency. Simone Pérèle, creator of fine French lingerie, is a proud corporate sponsor of Dress for Success and participating with Vargo in this national bra fitting initiative.
Kicking off the five-city tour on August 11 at the Dress for Success Worldwide offices in New York City, Vargo will host five Dress for Success events nationwide to fit disadvantaged women with new bras to help these women feel comfortable and confident when going on job interviews. Vargo estimates that at least 50-100 women will be fitted with new bras at each event. She says she hopes to visit more cities in the U.S. and internationally each year in partnership with Dress for Success so she can touch thousands of more lives. In 2009-2010, Vargo fitted hundreds of women at the Denver, Colorado headquarters.
"It's my personal and professional mission to nurture the female spirit, making women feel beautiful and cared for no matter their shape, size or class," says Vargo. "Women from all backgrounds should have the opportunity to feel poised and self-assured underneath their professional attire, and organizations like Dress for Success and support for these events make it possible. It's inspiring to see these women feel and look their best, and ready to start their futures."
Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie is a regular in-kind contributor to Dress for Success and will donate its product to the fittings; joining the in-kind effort is Simone Perele, donating more than 1,000 bras throughout the country.
In addition to New York City in August, the Alicia's Bras for Success team will fit other women receiving services from Dress for Success in Seattle (September 22), Colorado Springs (October) and Denver (January 2011), as well as a one other TBD city later in 2011.

"Their dedication to partnering with us is a key ingredient to making our organization live out our mission and inspire women across the country."
