From January to October this year, the average price of China's global yarn exports stood at US $3.1 / kg, an increase of 12.6 percent year on year, according to statistics from Chinese customs.
Of which, the average prices of silk yarn and wool yarn were $28.95 / kg and $24.44 / kg, up 36.67 percent and 23.68 percent, respectively, year on year.
The average price of chemical fiber yarn and cotton yarn was $2.94 / kg and $4.15 / kg, an increase of 15.63 percent and 20.96 percent, respectively, year on year.
Among export areas, the average price of exports to ASEAN region rose by 19.21 percent year on year to set the highest increase and those to Hong Kong and South Korea increased by 23.36 percent and 10.85 percent, respectively. However, export price to Japan fell by 6.16 percent.
