Abhishek adds new terry towel capacity

Abhishek Industries, a Trident Group company has completed the expansion project of adding 24 new power looms and upgrading 18 existing ones, to produce terry towels. This addition will take the number of looms manufacturing terry towels to 374.
Abhishek has invested Rs 359.8 million in the expansion and commercial production of the new looms began from January 2.
The expansion will generate more revenue for the terry towel division and also allow the company to focus more on the domestic market as well as value-added products for the niche segment of high-end European retailers.
