China imported 443,400 tons of PTA in December 2010, an increase of 32,700 tons compared with November 2010; the average price of declaration was US $1,177 / ton, according to customs statistics.
China imported 115,000 tons of other terephthalic acid, representing an increase of 3,200 tons from November, the average price of declaration was US $ 1,131 / ton.
