MERCEDES BENZ FASHION AWARD FINALIST
Palesa Mokubung, one of the 2009 Mercedes Benz Fashion Award Finalists, has been nominated by Mercedes Benz to present “Design and Glamour from an African Perspective” at the National Arts Gallery in Cape Town. The innovative designer is back at school currently completing her degree – to coin a phrase, in a class of her own!
IT'S ALWAYS WHAT I WORE
Australian based theatrical company under the musical directorship of Moira Blumenthal is sashaying into SA next month with musical production, “Love, Loss and What I Wore”.The cast is being dressed by Rubicon, Vesselina Pentcheva, Marianne Fassler and Kotton & Twille.

Reggie Molamu (former RJK designer) recently cut his first CD. Yes, Reggie can sing all that Jazz
Wandi Nzimande is a DJ in his spare time. VanD1 is the entertainment company let up by Loxion dedicated to social upliftment of young entrepreneurs. 1 love to 1D.
Kotton & Twille designer and former Elle New Talent winner, Anna Mari Pretorius is launching a new range of woven 70's inspired belts and bags.
Remember when green was just a colour and notebooks were ring bound – SA Fashion Week made the switch to cut down on paper waste and Papersmith and Son helped us. Using the greenest paper available (TCF – totally chlorine free), mugs instead of Styrofoam, plain paper faxes in place of thermal paper, using both sides of the page before recycling, post-it notes instead of full cover fax sheets, only printing hard copies when absolutely necessary and e-mails whenever possible – the paper police will not be writing out any fines for this office!
