Huntsman to increase TiO2 price in North America

The Pigments division of Huntsman Corporation announced price increases for all its titanium dioxide pigments in North America. The following increases are effective 1 April 2011 or as applicable contracts allow:
For all products sold in North America: $0.15 per pound (USD) or $0.15 per pound (CAD).
In addition to the above, a further price increase of $0.05 per pound (USD) or $0.05 per pound (CAD) will be applied to the following products:
All anatase, inks, and polymer products (TIOXIDE TR28, TIOXIDE R-TC30, TIOXIDE R-FC5), TIOXIDE R-XL and the DELTIO free-flow pigment range.
These price increases are in addition to all price increases previously announced.
Huntsman is a global manufacturer and marketer of differentiated chemicals. Our operating companies manufacture products for a variety of global industries, including chemicals, plastics, automotive, aviation, textiles, footwear, paints and coatings, construction, technology, agriculture, health care, detergent, personal care, furniture, appliances and packaging.
