The organisers of Cinte Techtextil China 2020, have announced that the fair returns to Shanghai New International Expo Centre and it will be held from September 2-4 2020. Cinte Techtextil China welcomes leading adhesive and coating solution providers, ‘gluing up’ the production chain to provide innovative products from various applications.

Coatings solutions, sealants and adhesive products enhance the performance of products for numerous applications, ranging from automotive and sportswear to footwear and leather goods, and especially for disposable hygienic and medical nonwoven products such as diapers, sanitary pads, adult incontinence products and disposable medical garments.

Chemical finishing treatment with coating and adhesive products can be applied to the surface of nonwovens and textiles, providing the product with properties such as bacteriostatic properties, repellent properties and even washability. Some adhesive products are applied to the core of the absorbent and the layering components in hygienic products, offering improved performance and comfort.

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak, the global demand for disposable medical gear and personal protective equipment skyrocketed. Industries across different sectors are responding as quickly as they can to join forces in producing nonwoven masks, reusable textile masks and other related epidemic prevention products. Coatings and adhesive chemicals play an important role here as they often enhance the hygienic properties, anti-bacterial properties and even wash durability.
