A trader from the Ludhiana market told Fibre2Fashion, “Buyers were not keen on new deals. They are likely to return to the market in the coming weeks if demand from the downstream industry improves. The market was more concerned about international developments affecting cotton yarn demand. The US’ reciprocal tariff threat and restrictions on Indian yarn imports are dampening market sentiment.”
