North Indian cotton yarn demand weakens, prices down in Delhi

Cotton yarn prices in Delhi eased by &#****;* per kg as demand from downstream industries remained weak. Spinning mills lowered selling prices in line with falling cotton costs. A Delhi-based trader told Fibre2Fashion, “Spinning mills found relief from declining cotton prices, which gave them room to cut yarn prices. However, lower rates failed to attract buyers as demand prospects stayed negative.”
