OrganoClick is set to collaborate with Reima, a globally leading brand for functional children garments headquartered in Finland. The companies are set to resell OrganoTex Textile Waterproofing in Finland. OrganoClick is a Swedish cleantech company that develops, produces, and markets functional materials based on environmentally friendly fibre chemistry.

OrganoTex Textile Waterproofing Spray-On and Wash-In has been developed during several years and have been designed to give good water repellency, yet being biodegradable. The product is based on OrganoClick’s patented and awarded technology for modification of textile fibres and is totally free from the problematic perfluorinated compounds (PFAS), cyclic siloxanes and isocyanates that is often used in textile impregnations. Several of these chemicals are thought to be cancerogenic and hormone disruptive, as well as bioaccumulative in nature, according to OrganoClick.

“We are very happy and proud to enter a collaboration with Reima, that have very high-quality standards for their children products. We are also looking forward in entering new geographical markets through the collaboration. With Reima as a collaboration partner and reseller, we also reach out to a group of active and environmentally conscious families which has a great need of water repellent garments but also wish to take care of the environment,” Susanne Karlsson, account manager OrganoTex at OrganoClick said.

Reima has in total 70 fully-owned shops in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Russia, and China. OrganoTex Textile Waterproofing will be sold in Reima’s European shops, starting from June 2019. (GK)
