The 2019 edition of the fashion trade fair Panorama Berlin opened its doors to the professional visitors at the Berlin ExpoCenter City, from January 15-17, 2019. Around 600 brands can be seen presenting their collections for the autumn/winter 2019 season under the motto “Panorama Expedition”. Panorama Berlin is taking place during Berlin Fashion Week.

The exhibition space covers around 35,000 metres in nine tradeshow halls. Panorama Berlin is a joint production by Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin, under the management of managing partner J”org Wichmann and Messe Berlin, according to a press release on the show.

“For the coming edition of Panorama Berlin, we have reconsidered everything from a consumer perspective. We have further extended the Retail Solutions area in Hall Five and on two stages over three days, we are offering “knowledge to go” with more than 30 experts, including a whole raft of top speakers discussing content that you will only find in such a form here. Exciting lectures will be shedding light on the major topics of digitalisation and the emotionalisation of the point of sale into the point of experience,” Jbrg Wichmann, CEO of Panorama Berlin said.

Another integral part of Panorama Berlin’s reorientation is the fusion with Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist, the tradeshow for quality garments and crafted goods, which under the motto #Reachnextlevel represents an exciting contemporary mix of international iconic and heritage brands in a crossover with the themes current, sport, and active.

The expedition begins directly on the forecourt of the South Entrance in a bubble tent, the event’s new check-in area.

With Selvedge Run & Zeitgeist, the South Entrance to the exhibition centre will become the trend window to Panorama Berlin. In Hall One for women, collections made by established brands and newcomers with a huge potential for growth are displayed. We can find high street looks for well-informed women that can be worn at all occasions. In Hall Two for men, rounded off with authentic lifestyle, the hottest new menswear trends can be discovered, ranging from formal to minimalistic and modern.

In Hall Three for women, womenswear oscillates between daywear, athleisure, and glamour, rounded off with statement pieces. In Hall Four for urban men / women, the focus is on cool casual looks, mixed with denim, sports, and outerwear brands. International urban fashion trends are the defining theme. In Hall Five for retail solutions, Panorama Berlin is offering a presentation line-up by high-profile speakers. On two stages, the Lecture Stage and the Retail Solutions Lab, it’s all about emotionalisation and ‘eventisation’. Exhibitors will be showcasing innovative tools and concepts that will help turn your POS into a POX (point of experience).

In Hall Six for street style fashion is displayed in the context as culture, music, art, and sport. Inspiration, ideas, and visions paired with surprising digital presentations and interactions make this hall a real inspiration lab. In Halls Seven A & B Xoom, brands that understand sustainability and green fashion offer a modern symbiosis of fair fashion and urban lifestyle. (GK)
