Polartec, a leader in science of fabric, supplier of environmental protection fabrics, and a premium provider of textile solutions, recently exhibited for the first time at the SHOT Show Supplier Showcase, an event dedicated to shooting, hunting, and outdoor manufacturers, which was held on January 22 and 23, 2018, in Las Vegas, US, in booth S2314.

The company presented new product developments engineered to keep people warm, dry, cool and safe. These technologies include Polartec Delta cooling fabrics, highly versatile and durable Polartec Power Wool fabrics, and Polartec Alpha, the first-ever active insulation developed for US Special Operations Forces. Attendees got a first look at new Polartec Power Fill insulation, a best-in-class fill insulation that offers maximum warmth and sustainable comfort––with 80 per cent recycled content––for cold conditions.

Polartec also creates fabrics made in the US for Berry Amendment compliance, including technologies with a proprietary construction of Nomex, Kevlar, and carbon yarns with no melt, no drip fire resistant performance for the most extreme arc flash protection and uncompromising performance. (GK)
