Poor energy market pulls down Asian PTA prices this week

PTA prices in the Asian market fell this week from weak feedstock values coupled with poor energy market from its previous week.
In F E Asian market, prices went down by 3.65% and were assessed in the range of US$ 935/ton to US$ 940/ton in the week ending Sept 12, compared to US$ 960/ton to US$ 965/ton in the previous week ending Sept 6.

In S E Asia, prices fell by 3.55% and were quoted in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 965/ton this week against US$ 985/ton to US$ 990/ton in its previous week.
In Indian market, prices too declined by 3.52% and were offered in the range of US$ 970/ton to US$ 975/ton this week vis-à-vis US$ 995/ton to US$ 1000/ton in week ending Sept 6.
