Propylene prices down in Europe but stable in US last week

Propylene prices went down in Europe in the last week ended June 12 from weak product demand in the region.

While, due to firm energy prices in the US market, average prices remained stable.

In Europe, average prices declined by € 20/ton or 1.85 per cent and were quoted at € 1060/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week, a decrease of 1.85 percent.

In US, average prices kept steady and were assessed at 30 cents/pound in the last week, as against its previous week.
