Propylene prices inch higher in US last week

Propylene prices stepped up in US in the last week with the support of optimistic market fundamentals in the region.
In US, average prices edged higher by 2 cents/pound and settled at 38 cents/pound in the last week, a lift of 5.56 per cent over the previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices soared by € 5/ton and assessed at € 950/ton in the last week, a gain of 0.53 per cent as compared to the previous week due to strong business activity in the region.
