Propylene prices knocked down in Europe & US last week

Propylene prices were knocked down in Europe and US in the last week ended August 29 due to weak upstream energy prices and ample availability in the region.
In Europe, average prices reduced by € 50/ton or 5.95 per cent and were quoted at € 790/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices were spotted at 16.5 cents/pound in the last week, lower by 3.5 cents/pound as against its prior week.
