PX prices shoot up in US past week

PX prices in the US soared previous week with strong buying sentiments in the region.
In the US, average prices elevated by US$ 40/ton to US$ 1,260/ton in the last week from US$ 1,220/ton, a growth of 3.28 per cent from the preceding week.
The average prices in Europe climbed US$ 20/ton to a total of US$ 1,230/ton in the earlier week due to higher upstream energy values in the region, a jump of 1.65 per cent from US$ 1,210 over the former week.
