PX prices up in Europe & down in US last week

PX prices went up in Europe in the last week ended Jan 29 due to lift in buying interest in the region. However, due to sluggish buying trend, average prices went down in the US.
In Europe, average prices mounted by US$ 15/ton or 2.25 per cent and were assessed at US$ 610/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices decreased by US$ 35/ton and were offered at US$ 615/ton in the last week, down a steep 5.38 per cent as against its prior week.
