Re.Verso & Filatura C4 to present new line at Filo

At Filo, in booth G20, Re.Verso & Filatura C4 are introducing the A/W 2017/2018 collection of smart wool yarns for contract and woven fabrics for fashion.

As per a press release, the Re.Verso supply chain is based on pre-consumer clippings collected from the best Italian and international brands and producers of the fashion industry.

This system allows great savings in terms of energy and water consumption and CO2 emissions as certified by Life Cycle Assessment done by Prima Q as well as is, Global Recycling Standard certified.

“Both companies have collaborated to present a new dimension in eco-smart re-engineered wool based yarns, named Re.Verso by Filatura C4,” managing director of Filatura C4, Alessio Catani said.

According to the press release, this joint venture began when Filatura C4 realised the unique added value the Re.Verso concept can offer, neatly matching its own business profile and philosophy.

This led to the creation of high quality products through R&D of materials with low environmental impact as well as the use of sustainable and recycled raw materials.

Since, Re.Verso collects, sorts and reprocesses pre-consumer textile waste, this completely matched Filatura C4's dedication to produce the best quality recuperated yarns.

“These yarns can replace virgin yarn use, while saving on raw materials, costs and environmental impact,” the press release informed.

Since 1962, Filatura C4 is known for smart innovation in the contract and furnishing and has developed specialisation in recuperation of technical and natural fibres.
