RIL gets Platts Global Energy Award for CSR

RIL bagged the award beating 11 other finalists from all over the world for CSR. Reliance Foundation has  touched  the  lives  of  more  than  four  million  people  across  India  in  more than 5,500 villages and urban locations.

Through the medium of this award, its adjudicators have stated that CSR is not an obligation, but a voluntary commitment which greatly  motivates  employee  morale,  is  of  fundamental  interest  to  customers,  investors  and  other key stakeholders and is the key determinant of a company's character.

Platts award, considered to be one of the most prestigious award in the energy category, is awarded to companies showing leadership and commitment in its business.
