Roica shows Eco-Smart family of yarns at FILO

Roica experts displayed the world-first Roica Eco-Smart family of yarns at the FILO fair in Milan, Italy, in booth G14. The international exhibition for yarns and fibres was held on September 26 and 27, 2018, in Milan, Italy. Roica, by Japan’s Asahi Kasei, is a premium stretch fibre with an innovative range of smart functions to suit the modern wardrobe.

Experts from Roica empowered the attendees with knowledge and creativity as they demonstrated Roica Eco-Smart family functionality, Roica said in a media statement.

Roica Eco-Smart family of yarns offers two responsible made yarns, a GRS (Global Recycled Standard) version 3 certified yarn and the world’s first yarn awarded Cradle2Cradle Material Health Gold Level Certificate and Hohenstein Environment compatibility certification.

Cradle2Cradle Certified Gold Level for Material Health includes Roica yarn evaluated throughout the supply chain for lower impacts on human and environmental health and striving toward eliminating all toxic and unidentified chemicals for a safe continuous cycle. The Hohenstein Environment compatibility certificate helps Roica breaks down without releasing harmful substances. (GK)
