Sluggish demand on Jan 5 pulls down Asian PTA prices

Sluggish demand trends in the region and fall in upstream product prices led to Asian PTA prices pulling down on Monday (Jan 5).

In FE Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 610/ton, lower by US$ 25/ton as compared to the prices at the end of last week.

In SE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 630/ton, down by US$ 25/ton as against prices at the end of previous week.

In India, PTA prices were quoted at US$ 630/ton, lower by US$ 25/ton vis-à-vis prices at the end of last week.
