Sluggish demand pulls benzene prices in Asia

Benzene prices moved down in Asia in the last week due to sluggish buying demand in the market.
In Korea, average prices decreased by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 850/ton in the last week, a drop of 1.16 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In Japan, average prices plunged by US$ 10/ton to US$ 855/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, after a fall of 1.16 per cent.
In India, average prices declined by US$ 10/ton and quoted at US$ 860/ton in the last week, as compared to previous week, a decrement of 1.15 per cent.
