Source India 2018 to host 200 foreign buyers

Over 200 foreign buyers from 40 different countries will be attending Source India 2018, Surat, the second edition of the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) being organised by the Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) from September 21-23. The 3-day mega textile show has been approved by the Union ministry of commerce.

Besides 200 foreign buyers, the textile fair will have 500 domestic visitors that include textile buyers, garment producers, wholesalers, textiles agents, senior executive of foreign buying houses and retail chain stores in India.

The show will cover the entire range of Indian man-made fibre textile products including fabrics, made-ups, home textiles, technical textiles, fashion accessories, yarn, and fibres of different varieties. Various fashion shows, seminars and workshops will also be held at the venue during the course of the event.

“The council has taken appropriate steps to select and invite around 200 leading buyers from around 40 countries to participate in this edition of Source India for sourcing their requirement of Indian man-made fibre textile products from our member exporters. In addition, SRTEPC will also extend invitation to leading International buying houses, retail chain stores and agents based in India to visit the event for discussing business with their prospective future suppliers of textiles,” said SRTEPC on its website.

Source India 2018, the flagship export promotion programme of the council, offers a platform to SRTEPC member-companies to meet and discuss business with around 200 potential foreign buyers under one roof at Source India, Surat by developing long term and mutually beneficial relationships with them.
