The textile machines of SSM Schärer Schweiter Mettler AG, impressed visitors at the two exhibitions: Irantex in Tehran and CAITME in Tashkent, held in September. SSM, known as the innovative leader in yarn processing and winding – Swiss developer, leader and inventor of the electronic yarn traverse system, showcased its range of solutions and applications.

In Tehran, SSM joined the booth of the Swiss Textile Machinery Association (Swissmem). The local industry gained insight from the services displayed at Irantex 2017 expo, the 23rd international exhibition of textile machinery, raw materials, home textiles, embroidery machines, and textile products.

For CAITME, Textima (SSM representative for Uzbekistan) was the host. CAITME is the largest international specialised textile machinery exhibition in Central Asia and CIS countries. The visitors had been keen about the latest technology from SSM. (RR)
