Stahl unveils new BeTan beamhouse & tanning portfolio

Stahl, a world leader in specialty chemistry of coatings, processing and treatments, has announced that the company has launched its new responsible Stahl BeTan beamhouse and tanning portfolio. The introduction of Stahl BeTan underlines Stahl’s commitment to using responsible chemistry to improve the environmental impact of the supply chain.

Building on years of experience in beamhouse operations, and with the best technical experts around the world, Stahl helps tanners to improve the sustainability value of their products. In particular, Stahl BeTan enables tanners to reduce their water consumption and drive the efficiency of the beamhouse and tanning processes, without compromising on the quality of the leather, the company said in a media statement.

Stahl BeTan is a complete portfolio of solutions, expertise and environmental benefits for tanners that want to stay ahead of the competition by creating high-quality leather more sustainably.
