Strong demand pushes up European propylene prices

Propylene prices increased in Europe in the last week due to strong product demand in the region.
In Europe, average prices improved by US$ 25/ton and quoted at US$ 1050/ton in the last week, a rise of 2.44 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in US, average propylene prices declined by 10 cents/pound and assessed at 45 cents/pound, a drop of 22.22 per cent as compared to previous week due to unfavourable market conditions in the market.
