Swiss fabric producer Ventile records 600% sales growth in eco range

Ventile, a global high performance fabric manufacturer, has achieved highest ever quarterly sales with a 600 per cent growth in its eco fabrics collection during the first quarter (Q1) of FY21 over the same period of prior fiscal. This indicates a surge of interest in sustainably grown fabric from global retail markets and consumers across multiple sectors, according to the company.

“The carefully curated range of eco fabrics have been designed to achieve the best balance of performance, comfort, and sustainability. Each fabric construction is made using materials and processes that have a minimal impact on the environment, once again representing the brand’s eco-friendly ethos and commitment to sustainability and slow fashion,” the Swiss firm stated.

The sought-after collection currently comprises of 14 different fabrics made from organic cotton, recycled cotton or fabric blends combining hemp, linen or lyocell.
