Will just less than four months to go before the trade show for processing textile and flexible materials, Texprocess begins from May 9, 2017, the show has witnessed the highest number of exhibitor registrations in its history. The growth in numbers has been mainly driven by companies in CAD/CAM, and Cutting, Making, Trimming (CMT) product groups.

The technology products on show at Texprocess covers all stages in the value creation chain of textile goods like design, IT, cutting out, sewing, seaming, embroidery and knitting to finishing, textile printing and logistics.

In partnership with World Textile Information Network (WtiN), the show organisers will also be organising the European Digital Textile Conference on May 10. Digital printing on textiles will also be taken up as a topic in a dedicated series of lectures forming part of the Texprocess Forum.

The Innovative Apparel Show also returns to Texprocess this year at which four European colleges will be showcasing their fashion designs from functional textiles and the processing stages that go into making them.

In the 2017 edition, exhibitors and visitors at Texprocess will also benefit from a Techtextil hosted zone called 'Living in Space', which will be showcasing a wide variety of applications for technical textiles in space travel, together with the processing involved. (AR)
