Textile Congress to show trends of digital technology

The fifth edition of the International Digital Textile Congress beginning September 27 in Ghent, Belgium will showcase the latest developments in digital product and process technologies. The two-day conference will lay emphasis on the state-of-the-art and future trends in digital technologies, knowledge sharing, 3D-printing and network opportunities.

At the congress themed 'Digital Plugin for the Textile Factory of the Future', exhibitors will demonstrate their new developments, products and applications. It is an opportunity for the visitors to meet experts from various fields of research and gain insight from presentations at the conference.

"The event will feature all you have to know about the state-of-the-art, developments, innovations, applications and future prospects concerning digital technologies for the textile and garment industries," said organiser Unitex.

The conference will cover various topics including digitalisation in printing and finishing, designing, fashion, e-commerce and new business models among others. (RR)
