Thursday: Asian PTA prices step up

PTA prices moved higher in Asia on Thursday due to increase in buying in the region.
In FE Asia, PTA prices rose to US$ 855/ton on Thursday, up by US$ 5/ton from US$ 850/ton on the previous day.
In SE Asia, PTA prices climbed US$ 5/ton and settled at US$ 865/ton on Thursday in comparison to the price on the past day.
In India, PTA prices climbed to US$ 870/ton on Thursday as against US$ 865/ton on the day before.
