Tunisian textile & apparel exports dip in November

Textile and apparel exports from the northernmost African country of Tunisia declined by 6.62 percent year-on-year to 372 million Tunisian dinars in November 2011, as per the latest data released by the Textile Technical Centre.
The country's imports in the textile and apparel sector decreased by 2.41 percent year-on-year to 334 million Tunisian dinars during the month.
The export-import difference also fell by 5 percent compared with November 2010.
Segment-wise, exports in the textile sector were down by 9.51 percent y-o-y in November, while the apparel sector exports fell by 6.13 percent y-o-y.
