Turkiye's apparel & fabric imports from Egypt up, exports ease in 2022

  • Turkiye and Egypt are making efforts to normalise their bilateral relations, which could lead to a boost in mutual trade potential. Turkish companies have pledged to invest $500 million in Egypt to help the country overcome its financial crisis. Fabric imports by Turkiye also increased in 2022, while fabric exports from Turkiye to Egypt decreased.
