Turkiye's exports of goods, services up 0.9% in 2024, 0.2% in Q4 2024

Turkiye’s exports of goods and services increased by 0.9 per cent, while such imports decreased by 4.1 per cent in 2024. Such exports decreased by 2 per cent year on year (YoY) in Q4 2024 in the chained-linked volume index, while such imports increased by 1.6 per cent YoY.

The country’s gross domestic product (GDP) with chain-linked volume index increased by 3.2 per cent YoY last year, according to official data.

GDP at current prices increased by 63.5 per cent YoY in 2024 and GDP per capita at current prices was 507,615 TRY ($15,463) last year. It increased by 49 per cent YoY in Q4 2024 at current prices.

First estimates showed GDP with chain-linked volume index increased by 3 per cent YoY in the fourth quarter (Q4) last year. Seasonally- and calendar-adjusted GDP with chain-linked volume index increased by 1.7 per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ) during Q4 2024.

Calendar-adjusted GDP with chain-linked volume index increased by 3.1 per cent YoY in the quarter.
