US & European benzene prices surge last week

Benzene prices surged up in Europe and the US in the last week ended March 11 from tight product availability in the region.
In Europe, average prices expanded by US$ 50/ton or 8.06 per cent and were quoted at US$ 670/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.
In US, average prices mounted by 20 cents/gallon and were assessed at 220 cents/gallon in the last week, up 10.00 per cent as against its prior week.
