Zund Systemtechnik AG acquires Zund Plotting Systems

Zund Plotting Systems (UK) Ltd., the UK-based industry leader in the supply and service of precision digital cutting systems located in St. Albans, England, has become a subsidiary of Zund Systemtechnik AG, a family-owned business with operations worldwide, that specialises in developing and manufacturing digital cutting systems, based in Switzerland.

As an official distribution and service partner of Zünd Systemtechnik since 1993, Zund UK has been taking care of hundreds of satisfied Zünd customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Following its acquisition, Zünd Systemtechnik AG welcomes Zund Plotting Systems (UK) Ltd. as a long-time reseller and distributor into the global family of Zünd companies. Zund UK will continue to serve the UK and Irish markets as in the past, but with the added benefit of being even more closely aligned with its parent company in terms of sales, service, and support of Zünd digital cutting systems. Tim Taylor, founder and commercial director of Zund UK, will remain with the company, heading up UK sales. As newly appointed managing director, Stuart Cole will be overseeing daily operations.
