Zund to show digital cutting solutions at Texprocess 2018

Zund, a company specialising in developing and manufacturing digital cutting systems, is set to show latest digital cutting technologies and solutions for cost-effective cutter system integration in various processing and production workflows at Texprocess Americas. The company will be seen in booth 1733 at the expo from May 22 to 24, 2018, in Atlanta.

At Texprocess 2018, Zünd is presenting cutting solutions that allow for seamless integration in digital production workflows. Zünd cutting systems are extremely flexible and designed to make textile cutting economical, no matter the specific production environment or materials that need to be cut. They give customers the opportunity to create new business models through innovative new cutting applications. Zünd has always striven to make its cutting and software solutions completely modular.

The Zünd S3 system on display at Texprocess illustrates the benefits of this modularity, which permits tailoring the cutting system to the requirements dictated by the job at hand, both in terms of tooling and material handling, for example, with a cradle feeder for tension- and wrinkle-free advances. A camera-based registration system, in combination with the Zünd Cut Centre software and user interface, takes care of matching cut to print, ensuring accurate registration even with stretch fabrics. Options for nesting and pattern matching are available as well. To visualise the integrated workflow concept and illustrate how easily the cutting system fits into the total value chain, Zünd is once again teaming up with other suppliers on the show floor to create a finished garment and a home furnishing product for attendees to take home as samples.
