Exports of textiles and related products declined by 0.8 per cent, amounting to 16,825.9 million Rand (~$959.76 million) in the first nine months of 2024, compared to 16,955.3 million Rand during the corresponding period in 2023.
In September 2024, South Africa's textile and textile article imports stood at 5,625.9 million Rand (~$320.87 million), reflecting a 6.8 per cent decrease compared to 6,038.8 million Rand in September 2023.
