The government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the establishment of logistics facilitation cells in every district to streamline project execution and strengthen the aviation, logistics and infrastructure sectors.
These cells will focus on land management, provision of utilities and improvement of connectivity. By addressing issues such as land alienation, removal of encroachments and compensation processes, the initiative aims to accelerate infrastructure development across the state.
Under the utilities and connectivity component, the cells will prepare estimates and follow up on approvals and execution of dedicated power supply and bulk water supply up to project boundaries, according to a news agency report.
